Different clothes deserve different treatment — a Gucci jacket is not a bag of tees. Here's exactly how yours will be valued.
Every piece is authenticated and priced on its own merits. Luxury is never, ever bought by weight.
Valued individually or included in bulk grading, depending on demand and condition — always the route that treats the item fairly.
Bought by the kilo at a clear, published rate — and the recorded weight is always shown on your valuation.
We'd rather you know exactly what to expect before you order a bag. Most services hide this — we lead with it.
Every luxury and premium piece is assessed on its own:
The exact rate depends on the quality and grade of the clothing we receive. Try it — drag the slider:
Honesty first: everyday clothes are about volume — the real money is in your branded and designer pieces, which is why we inspect every bag item by item before anything touches a scale. Your valuation lists each individually priced item and the recorded weight with the rate applied, so you can check our maths line by line.
Not the flashiest promises — just the ones that matter, kept every time.
Your Clothes2Cash bag is posted to you at no cost, no obligation.
Sending your bag back costs you nothing — it's tracked, too.
Any Post Office or parcel drop-off point near you will do.
We message you at every step — arrival, valuation, payment.
Published rates, itemised valuations, recorded weights.
Genuine items, honestly assessed — and free returns if you decline.

What can't be resold is reused or recycled to cut textile waste.
Where clothing can't be resold, it's reused or recycled to reduce textile waste. Some of it becomes something rather special.
Every completed bag is an automatic entry into that month's draw. No forms, no payment — send a bag, you're in.
Suitable recycled textiles are hand-woven into a one-of-a-kind Berber-style rug. Old clothes, second life.
One customer wins the finished rug every month. Refer a friend — when their bag mentions your name, you earn an extra entry.
Rug not your thing? The planet still wins — nothing usable is binned.
Honestly: it depends what's in your bag. Luxury designer is valued piece by piece on brand, condition, authenticity and current resale demand — that's where the real money is. Everyday clothing is bought by weight at roughly £0.50–£0.70 per kg, so a 10 kg bag of everyday clothes is about £5–£7. We'll never pretend otherwise — clear expectations are the whole point of Clothes2Cash.
Then you say no — and you choose what happens next: we return your items to you free of charge, or donate them. Your clothes never disappear into a black hole, and declining never costs you anything.
Your valuation shows the maths: every individually priced item is listed by name, and your everyday clothing shows the recorded weight and the rate applied. If something looks off, message us on WhatsApp and a real person will go through it with you.
We message you when your bag arrives and again when your valuation is ready. Once you accept, payment goes straight to your bank — fast. You'll never be left chasing.
Counterfeits — every designer item is authenticated, and anything that fails the check is excluded from your offer. We also can't take items that are wet, soiled or damaged beyond normal wear. Clean, dry and wearable is the rule.
Every completed bag is automatically one entry into that month's draw. Suitable recycled textiles are handmade into a Berber-style rug, and one customer wins it each month. Refer a friend and you get an extra entry when their bag arrives. No payment is ever needed to enter — full details in the Giveaway T&Cs in the footer.
No — order your bag with the form below and we'll keep you updated by email. WhatsApp is just the fastest way to reach a real human if you have a question: message us here.
They get a second life. Wearable clothes are resold; what can't be resold is reused or recycled — including into our monthly giveaway rugs — so nothing usable ends up in landfill.
Takes a minute. Your bag arrives with the prepaid label ready to go.
Fill this in and your free bag is on its way. Then it's fill, drop off, and wait for your valuation.

To send your free bag, value your items and pay you, we collect: your name, contact details (email, phone/WhatsApp), postal address and postcode, details of the items you send us, and the messages you send us. Payment details are only collected when you accept an offer.
We process your data to take steps to enter into and perform our agreement with you, on the basis of our legitimate interests in running the service, and with your consent where required (e.g. marketing).
We share only what's necessary with postal and courier partners (such as Royal Mail or Evri) to deliver and return bags, with our form provider to receive your enquiry, and with payment providers to pay you. We do not sell your data. Messages sent over WhatsApp are also processed by WhatsApp/Meta under their terms.
We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete it.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. Email us and we'll help. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
We use only essential cookies needed to run the site. If we add analytics, we'll ask for your consent first.
We buy used clothing. You order a free Clothes2Cash bag, fill it with items you own, and return it using the prepaid label provided. We inspect your items, send you a valuation, and pay you if you accept.
Genuine, clean, dry and wearable clothing. We do not accept counterfeit or replica items, stolen goods, or items that are wet, soiled, unhygienic or damaged beyond normal wear.
Luxury designer items are always valued individually, based on brand, condition, authenticity and current resale demand — never by weight. Premium brands are valued individually or included in bulk grading depending on demand and condition. Everyday clothing is purchased by weight at our published rate range (currently approximately £0.50–£0.70 per kg); the exact rate depends on quality and grade. Your valuation lists individually priced items and the recorded weight of clothing bought by weight.
By sending us items you confirm they are genuine, legally yours to sell, and accurately described.
Designer items are checked for authenticity. Items that fail our checks are excluded from your offer and, where the law allows, can be returned with the rest of a declined bag. Knowingly sending counterfeit goods may be reported.
If you accept your valuation, ownership of the items passes to us on payment. If you decline, you choose: we return your items free of charge, or donate them with your consent. See our Returns Policy for details.
Once you accept your valuation, we pay by bank transfer promptly. You may instead choose to donate your payout.
Completed bags are automatically entered into our monthly giveaway. See the Giveaway T&Cs for full rules. No payment is required to enter.
Outbound bags and prepaid return labels are provided free. Please pack items securely and obtain proof of postage when you drop off your bag. Items remain your responsibility until they reach us.
To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for items lost before they reach us or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Your clothes are yours until you accept an offer. If you decline your valuation, nothing is kept, sold or recycled without your say-so.
Tell us your choice when you respond to your valuation. Returns are dispatched promptly after you decline and we'll confirm when they're on the way.
If some items can't be included in your offer (for example, they fail an authenticity check or aren't in sellable condition), we'll tell you which and why, and you can have them returned with the same free-return promise.
Message us on WhatsApp or email contact@clothes2cash.co.uk — a real person will sort it.
Each calendar month, one winner receives a handmade Berber-style rug made from recycled textiles ("the prize"). The promoter is Clothes2Cash, contactable at contact@clothes2cash.co.uk.
Entry never requires a payment. Selling your clothes to us is not a payment by you, and the free postal route is available to everyone.
Winners are selected at random from all valid entries within 7 days of the month's end, notified by email or WhatsApp, and announced (first name and county) with their consent. If a winner doesn't respond within 14 days, a new winner is drawn.
Each rug is handmade from recycled textiles and unique — size, colours and pattern vary. No cash alternative. Delivery within the UK is free.
Open to UK residents aged 18+. Our team and their households can't enter.
Clothes2Cash is a small UK team with a simple idea: selling the clothes you no longer wear should be easy, fair and honest.
Most of us have a pile of clothes we keep meaning to sell — but photographing, listing, haggling and posting them one by one is a job nobody wants. And the "cash for clothes" alternative usually means mystery scales and pennies for designer pieces.
So we built the version we'd want to use: a free bag through your door, a prepaid label, every item inspected by a real person, designer priced per item, everyday priced at a published rate — and a valuation that shows its working. If you don't like your offer, you get your clothes back, free.
Nothing usable goes to waste: what can't be resold is reused or recycled, and some of it comes back as the handmade Berber rugs we give away every month.
